The new year has come as a refreshing time against the backdrop of a global pandemic, personal life changes, and anything else that finds itself twirling around you like a whirlwind. The onset of the new year presents numerous reasons for us gripped by fear, but God is our Anchor and Hope. The beginning of a new year is a refreshment of all good things regardless of how dismal the previous year has been. We can’t forget that God is still good.
This year, To Be Praised will launch a few new initiatives to help us deepen our virtual engagement with women. Our theme this year is “Reconnect and Restore.” In the past few years, what have you lost? Realistically, the pandemic has altered every aspect of our lives – it has upended our routines and scattered us away from trusted communities. For many, fear, stress, and solitude will have lasting effects on how life will be lived moving forward.
To that end, it is an opportune time to reconnect with ourselves and make room in our ever-changing day-to-day to reconnect with one another. And restoration, well restoration is the natural resolution to loss when God is at the helm of your life. My prayer is that whatever you’ve lost, God will restore in abundance.
So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. – Joel 2:25
In addition to launching a new theme, we’ve launched a To Be Praised Patreon page, so please go check it out! There’s a ton of FREE content on this website and our social pages. Still, we will spend the rest of the year providing mentorships, digital communities, and exclusive content for people who opt in to one of the three tiers currently available.
Praying peace and joy into your new year! Sending you lots of love and light.
