Monday Motivation Devotional for the High-Performing Christian Woman
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)
It’s Monday, and the to-do list is already stretching longer than your weekend rest. Emails are piling up, expectations are high, and the pressure to perform is real. But before you dive headfirst into the hustle, take a moment to pause and remember: your identity is not in your productivity—it’s in your purpose.
God didn’t call you to strive for your own strength. He called you to abide in Him. You are not just a leader, a visionary, or a go-getter—you are His daughter, chosen and equipped for good work. Not just busy work. When you commit your work to the Lord, really lay it at His feet, and He promises to establish it. That means He will align your plans with His will, multiply your efforts, and cover what you can’t control.
So, as you step into this week, don’t just aim for excellence—aim for alignment. Set your intentions, then surrender them. Work hard, but worship harder. Trust that when you put God first, He will handle the rest—with grace, favor, and power.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this new week. As I lead, serve, and produce, help me to do it all with You at the center. Teach me to rest in Your plan and trust in Your provision. Let results and faithfulness measure my success to what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, amen.
You’ve got this. Because He’s got you.
