Erika Kimberly is a writer, educator, and leadership strategist. Erika created To Be Praised for women of all ages to find biblical teaching, one-on-one mentoring, and community to encourage the growth of women into the knowledge of their godly purpose and design.
Erika Kimberly Stanley was raised in the Church of Christ and has been a faithful member of the Lord’s body. Erika founded the Young Woman’s Bible Class in the Bridgeport congregation in 2014 and has experience speaking at local Ladies Days and Ladies Retreats as well as leading Bible studies for women in her local congregation. Erika is also the founder of “To Be Praised,” a Christian network committed to the spiritual and leadership development of women through Bible studies, event hosting, and creating small learning communities. Erika believes God has given her a unique heart for women’s ministry and is pursuing this calling with diligence and zeal.
Erika earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College. Currently, Erika is a Doctorate of Education student researching how the voices of women and its influence on organizational change and works in CT managing community engagement for a Community Foundation.
